Chances are you already have most of the ingredients in your home, delicious donuts you love can be made in minutes.
- Mix warm water with yeast in a mixing bowl. Let the yeast dissolve in the water.
- Add salt, margarine, milk, sugar, eggs and 2 cups flour. Combine these ingredients, stirring gently, as you will need to mix and break up the lumps. Do it for 30 seconds.
- Beat or stir the mixture for another 2 minutes on medium speed. Continue leveling and outlining. Add the remaining flour and stir until the dough is perfect.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 50 to 60 minutes. Put it in a warm place. The dough will be ready when the surface follows the direction you touch it; which means, if you press down on the dough with your finger, the dough will remain in the downward pressure position and not bounce back up.
- Spread the flour on a mat, such as on a table or cutting board. Spoon the dough onto a floured surface and gently roll the dough so that it is coated. Carefully roll out the dough so that it is about 1.3 cm thick with a rolling pin (it's better if you coat it with flour first so the dough won't stick to the roll). Use a donut cutter for each fruit, making a hole in the center.
- Layer these donut pieces again and let them rise for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Use a deep fryer at 180 C and pour in the vegetable oil. Use a spatula wide on the sides and slide the donuts into the oil. Fry each side for about 1 minute until the donuts are golden brown.
- Carefully remove the donuts from the oil and dry the pieces of these donuts. Do not let the surface of the donut crumble.
- Apply a layer of glaze and put the donuts in it. Let the donuts cool and then use the chocolate glaze as jam.
