After the Toyota Agya 2023 which was announced by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), following the release of the Perodua Axia 2023 in Malaysia. It was only the following day that it was Daihatsu Ayla 2023's turn which would be introduced by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM).

For Perodua, since its emergence in the early 2010s, Axia has successfully colored the compact car market in Malaysia. Now the second generation also comes with a total change.

One more thing, Perodua immediately started official sales of the newest Axia since its launch on Tuesday (14/02/2023). In contrast to Toyota, which only introduced Agya with general information without detailed specifications and prices.
Perodua markets the newest Axia starting from 38,600 ringgit (equivalent to Rp. 134 million) for type G, 40,000 ringgit (Rp. 139 million) for type X, 44,000 ringgit for type SE (Rp. 153 million), and 49,500 ringgit (Rp. 172 million) for type AV.
