All eyes were on the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team when introducing the new Yamaha YZR-M1 2023 livery in Jakarta, 17 January 2023, at the Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing "3S Dealer Meeting". At the event, which is the largest dealer meeting in the Yamaha network, this is the right moment for the first time to show the latest livery for the Yamaha MotoGP factory team. This launch has also been eagerly awaited by motorsports fans.

Yamaha has a long-term global partnership with the main sponsor of the team, Monster Energy Company, due to their shared passion for racing. The title sponsorship cooperation for the first few years with the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team was signed in the summer of 2018, besides that Monster Energy Company also sponsors several Yamaha teams (among them the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team since 2013) and racers (including Quartararo and Morbidelli) in various classes racing. The title sponsorship collaboration with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team was extended at last year's Catalunya GP, and it was worth celebrating when Fabio Quartararo won the race the same weekend.
The YZR-M1 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP color scheme for 2023 is also visible on the pit box, racer wearpack and team uniform. This new look combines the Yamaha colors (with the new addition of gray) as well as the Monster Energy lifestyle adventure color scheme. Monster's iconic claw branding remains instantly recognizable on the bike, the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team logo and team uniform.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP is also pleased to announce that, throughout the 2023 racing season, the team's motorbikes will continue to display the slogans of Yamaha Motor Philippines and PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, starting from the official IRTA MotoGP pre-season tests, 5-7 February and 10-12 February. in Sepang Malaysia and March 11-12 in Portimao Portugal.
In addition, the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team has also confirmed the continuation of relationships with many official sponsors and official partners, including the new placement of Beta Tools which have expanded their long-term involvement with the MotoGP team.
The 2023 MotoGP season will span 21 rounds and 42 races (due to the new MotoGP weekend race format, which includes the sprint race on Saturday). Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP test rider Cal Crutchlow will join Quartararo and Morbidelli at the official Sepang MotoGP test, as part of Yamaha's efforts to mobilize all its strength to make the 2023 season a success for the team.
