Well when touring we often experience things that are sometimes unexpected. One of them is that the front seal of the motorcycle leaks, don't ignore it, you know because the oil that seeps and sticks to the AS-shockbeker can provoke dust. Now this dust can scratch the AS-shockbeker, the edges will be damaged.
So, here's a simple trick to fix it, with enough capital: an L key, a min screwdriver, a soft cloth, and a cotton swab.
- Open the pretentious protective cover using the L key
- First, clean the remaining oil and dust that sticks to the pretentiousness
- Cut it out and open the rubber cover, be careful not to tear it because it's hard to replace
- Clean the inside of the pretentious
- Now, start installing the cotton, its function is to hold back so that the pretentious oil doesn't come out wetting the AS-shockbeker
- Trim the cotton according to the shape of the pretentious tube
- Put on the rubber cap
- Put on the pretentious protective cover again and you're done
Continue the journey, but this trick is only temporary, it lasts 2-3 months at most. If you've found a repair shop or you already have the money, please replace the seal with a new one, don't buy an imitation because it will leak immediately.
