Ferrari is expected to reveal a new electric car strategy in June 2022. This strategy is a form of planning for the luxury supercar manufacturer to enter a new era of electrification.
Reporting from the Hindustan Times page, Ferrari is also likely to reveal details of the Purosangue SUV at the same time. Purosangue was cited as a key model for Ferrari to increase sales volume and profitability.
The new SUV made by Ferrari will compete with its rival, the Urus, which has also contributed significantly to Lamborghini's sales volume in recent years.
Ferrari has introduced four hybrid car models and is promising its first full electric model by 2025. The Italian company will leverage strategic partnerships to access new technologies while keeping model rollouts under control.
Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said earlier this year that Ferrari would rely on its partners to develop bio and synthetic fuels that could be additional green options alongside all-electric technology.
Currently, Ferrari's powertrain options for a variety of cars include six-cylinder, eight-cylinder and 12-cylinder hybrid engines. While the battery electric car model will be coming soon from Ferrari.
