For the first time in Indonesia, Dreams Café by Honda showcases the Honda N-BOX, one of the most popular Honda N Series kei cars in the Japanese domestic market. This car appears as one of the displays at the cafe located at Senayan Park Jakarta, from September 1 to 26, 2022.
Honda N-BOX has a concept product as a five-door minivan with a small engine dimension of 660 cc. In addition, the Honda N-BOX also adopts the concept of "man maximum, minimum machine" which is the hallmark of Honda cars as a basic approach to Honda car design which minimizes space on mechanical components which aims to increase vehicle space efficiency. The fuel tank is located under the front seat which is a typical center tank layout for Honda cars. This also contributes to the interior design of the N-BOX which is more minimalist but still comfortable.
The first generation of the Honda N-BOX was first introduced in November 2011 and sold until August 2017. Honda Motor Co., Ltd. then introduced the second generation of Honda N-BOX in September 2017 with a small 660 cc engine equipped with a turbo device that makes driving performance more enjoyable. In addition, the second generation Honda N-BOX is also equipped with Honda SENSING's advanced safety technology.
The Honda N-BOX won the Car of the Year title in 2017 from the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame. A year later this car again won another prestigious award in the form of the Technology of the Year Award from the Automotive Researchers' and Journalists' Conference of Japan for weight reduction technology.
In this cafe, Honda also displays other displays, namely the outdoor-themed All New Honda BR-V which was previously displayed at the Honda booth at the GIIAS 2022 event and also at the All New BR-V Pop Park event at Summarecon Mall Bekasi. There is also a motor sport display, namely the Honda CBR150 which is also displayed at Dreams Cafe Powered by Honda. Previously, several special Honda products were displayed at Dreams Café Powered by Honda such as the Honda S660, Honda S800, Honda S2000, Honda Civic Type R and Honda RC123V-S mini sports cars.
