Isuzu Hands Over 67 D-Max Units at GJAW 2023 for Mining Cars

Isuzu took part in enlivening the 2023 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) exhibition from 10 to 19 March 2023. Isuzu occupied the Hall A3 JCC booth, Senayan with the theme of mining alias mine, with Isuzu D-Max as the main star.

This can be seen from the series of products presented. Where the Isuzu Traga is displayed with the Isuzu Mobile Workshop application, the All New Isuzu D-Max DC Double Cabin and the All New Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin.

Unfortunately, no new models were released or introduced at the event. However, Isuzu continues to emphasize its focus on the commercial vehicle segment.

Mining and Logistics Segment Continues to Grow

Ernando Demily, President Director of PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) said that the mining and plantation commodity industries such as coal and crude palm oil (CPO) are experiencing a positive trend.

In addition, the logistics sector has also experienced very rapid development as a result of the disruption of e-commerce and recorded a transaction value of 53 billion USD.

In fact, this situation is predicted to continue to increase to 104 billion USD in 2025. These things turned out to be the trigger for the growth of commercial vehicle sales.

"We, as manufacturers and distributors of Isuzu vehicles in Indonesia, continue to try to seize the opportunities that exist, so that we managed to achieve fantastic performance in 2022. We managed to record an all-time high with Retail Sales of 33,715 units in 2022, as well as factory utilization of 86 percent," said Ernando.

Handover of 67 Units of Isuzu D-Max Double Cabin

Isuzu's big name as a player in the commercial segment, including mining, can also be seen at GJAW 2023. One of them was through a ceremony of 67 units of the All New Isuzu D-Max Double Cabin 1.9 to PT. Petroflexx Prima Daya.

This handover was represented by Drevi Devi Paat, General Director of PT Petroflexx Prima Daya. This is a form of Isuzu's appreciation as a Real Partner for Isuzu Partner's business trip.

"Our seriousness in developing commercial vehicles in Indonesia has been proven. This is of course inseparable from Isuzu's success in making the transition from Euro 2 to Euro 4 emission standards," said Ernando.
