Beijing Auto Show 2024, Neta's First Product to Use AI Technology
NETA Auto Global launched the Neta L electric car at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show which took place from April 25 to May 4 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall, Beijing).
Coming with the "Tech for All" concept, in line with the Neta brand mission, namely "Touchable Smart EV", NETA Auto Global in collaboration with Qualcomm and AutoLink released the Snapdragon Ride Flex (SA8775P) cockpit-drive fusion platform globally. This innovative platform integrates cutting-edge technology, challenging the industry's current understanding of the intelligent cockpit experience.
Compared with existing cockpit fusion systems on the market, the Snapdragon Ride Flex (SA8775P) cockpit-to-drive fusion platform uniquely supports digital cockpit and intelligent driving functions through a single SoC.
This technology has advanced advantages with CPU, GPU and NPU processing capabilities, to support a variety of complex intelligent cockpit functions such as immersive 3D real-time rendering, 8K ultra-high definition displays and advanced displays.
NETA Auto becomes the first new energy vehicle brand to adopt the Snapdragon Ride Flex (SA8775P) cockpit-to-drive fusion platform. In addition, for the first time the company also launched NETA GPT, a product based on large-scale AI models, which will be implemented on Neta L.
The presence of NETA GPT also marks a new era of cars that use AI technology on a large scale, by offering a virtual assistant while driving. As CEO of NETA Auto, Mr. Zhang Yong stated that the presence of NETA GPT technology on Neta L is a form of the company's commitment to implementing "All In AI" technology in the future.
“We aim to achieve mass production of vehicles equipped with this technology in the second quarter of 2025, further strengthening NETA Auto's leadership in the advancement of intelligent driving cabins,” he said. First debuting at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Neta L is then scheduled to expand to 20 countries around the world in the second half of this year.
At this exhibition, NETA Auto not only showcased innovative technology and its new product range in the field of smart electric cars, but also the next step in carrying out global expansion for markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
In its home country, the Neta L is offered in two versions, namely EV and EREV or what is usually called PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle). As a long-range electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid, a compact SUV type series, the range of this car is capable of moving the car as far as 1,070 km on a single charge.
Not only does it have a long range, Neta L also offers an immersive driving experience by carrying the concept of "A Comfortable Living Space" which combines advanced technology with a comfortable interior, as well as a premium entertainment experience for passengers.
Apart from the Neta L electric car, Neta X and Neta S will also enliven the 2024 Beijing Auto Show
Not only launching the Neta L electric car, NETA Auto also showcased its superior products, namely Neta X and Neta S. Neta X is an electric Medium SUV which is said to be launching in Indonesia this year. This electric SUV is built on the Cloud-River platform, which is Hozon Auto's global platform.
In China, this electric car is equipped with a single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor producing a maximum power of 120 kW or the equivalent of 163 PS. Regarding the resulting range, Neta X can travel as far as 501 kilometers, with a maximum speed of 150km/hour.
Unlike the Neta X, the Neta S electric car is a type of electric sedan. This car is equipped with Qilin battery technology from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. (CATL), which is the world's number one battery manufacturer from China.
Introduced at GIIAS 2023, this futuristic electric car is powered by a 200 kW electric motor combined with a battery pack with a capacity of 117.04 kWh weighing 588 kg. By using a large battery, Neta S can be driven up to 1,075 km on a single charge.
