Showing Honda WR-V Field Explorer Concept to New Honda Civic RS Prototype
Honda is present at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 which will be held on January 12 - 14 2024 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba City, Japan. To emphasize its sporty DNA, Honda is showing various special product lines, starting from the Honda WR-V in the Field Explorer Concept version*, the 11th generation Honda Accord Sports Line version* to the New Honda Civic RS Prototype.
Honda has shown its fascination and passion for racing sports since the early 1960s until now, where through these racing events Honda has applied its sporty DNA to its product range. So consumers can also feel Honda's unique sporty feeling through the pleasure of driving through powerful and environmentally friendly engine performance.
In this exhibition, Honda also displayed its proud product line, namely the Honda Civic Type R FL5 hot hatch model which was shown for the first time in the Mugen version. Honda also displayed the super durable version of the Honda Civic Type R FL5 CNF-R with HRC livery and the Honda Civic Type R FL5 version of the Honda R&D Challenge FL5. Not only that, Honda also displayed the newest racing car that will be used in the Super GT racing event in 2024, namely the Honda Civic Type R-GT.
Apart from the mass-produced sporty product line, Honda also displays a line of legendary racing cars, namely the Honda S800 and Honda N-One. The Honda S800 is a Honda racing car that competed in the Shinshiro Rally Participating Vehicle where this car was developed by Educational Corporation Honda Gakuen Honda Technical College Kanto. Then Honda also displayed the Honda N-One HCM Super N-One which was used for the N-One Owner's Cup Participating Vehicle racing event.
Furthermore, Honda also presented the Red Bull Racing Honda RBPT RB19 F1 racing car which has made achievements in the 2023 Formula 1 racing championship. Then the Red Bull Motul Mugen SF23 Super Formula racing car which succeeded in winning the Super Formula racing championship in the 2023 season.
The Tokyo Auto Salon event is the largest car modification exhibition in Japan which is held in collaboration between the Tokyo Auto Salon Association (TASA), the Japan Auto Parts Aftermarket Committee (NAPAC), the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) and the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).
