Honda Aircraft Company introduces the latest technologies in Honda jet aircraft products, namely the second generation HondaJet Elite (HondaJet Elite II) which has now experienced improvements in various sectors ranging from performance and comfort. The latest generation of the HondaJet Elite was introduced in conjunction with the 2022 National Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Orlando, United States.
From the performance sector, the second generation HondaJet increases fuel capacity where the second generation HondaJet Elite has additional space to carry more fuel so that it can reach a flight distance of 1,547 Nautical Meters (based on NBAA IFR Range).
For the first time, HondaJet introduced a new feature, namely Autothrottle where this feature can reduce the pilot's workload through automation of power management based on desired flight characteristics through all flight phases, and allows for more precise and efficient aircraft performance (this feature will be available from plan on mid-2023).
In addition, for the first time introducing Emergency Autoland: a connected feature with Garmin® Autoland will activate in an emergency situation to control and land the aircraft independently without human intervention (this feature will be available in mid-2023). In addition, the HondaJet Elite II also has other new technologies such as a ground spoiler to help optimize performance during takeoff and landing.
In terms of comfort, the HondaJet Elite II has a more comfortable cabin with a new interior design, namely Onyx and Steel. The cabin of the HondaJet Elite II combines a mix of gray with mid-tone wood accents. In addition, the cabin is also made more impermeable.
For the hallway floor using a herringbone pattern. In addition, the lighting system in all cabin spaces now uses LED lights that can be adjusted to the conditions of the sky outside. The legroom was increased by 3 inches and the crew seats were also made longer.
The HondaJet Elite II features a new exterior color, namely Black Sable, which has a dominant black color combined with red accents so that it displays a bold image and further emphasizes and distinguishes it from jet aircraft in its class.
The HondaJet Elite was first introduced in 2018. The HondaJet Elite was developed through continuous innovation by the Honda Aircraft Company to be the fastest, tallest and furthest jet aircraft in its class and has the best performance while maintaining fuel efficiency.
