Xiaomi has released the Redmi Note 12 series globally in India and China. This series comes in three models, consisting of the 'regular' Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is the model with the highest specifications compared to the regular Redmi Note 12 and Pro.
However, the other two models are also equipped with specifications that are no less interesting. Xiaomi also seems to be getting ready to bring the Redmi Note 12 series to the Indonesian market. The indication is that there is a mysterious Redmi cellphone that has just passed and is registered on the Ministry of Industry's Domestic Content Level (TKDN) certification site.
If examined, the Redmi 23021RAA2Y device leads to the Redmi Note 12 4G cellphone. This is reinforced by the findings of the Xiaomiui.net site in the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) database.
Xiaomiui found three model numbers that point to the Redmi Note 12 4G, namely 23021RAAEG, 23028RA60L, and 23021RAA2Y, which are likely to be the regular Redmi Note 12 series, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.
Redmi Note 12 specifications
Redmi Note 12 is designed with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with support for a 120 Hz refresh rate. The kitchen runway for this cellphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset combined with two RAM and storage options, namely 4/128 GB and 6/128 GB.
These are the specifications. On the photographic aspect, the Redmi Note 12 is equipped with a dual camera, the resolution of which is 48 MP. Meanwhile, other cameras are only equipped with a 2 MP resolution to support the depth of the image. For the front camera, the Redmi Note 12 offers a resolution of 8 MP. In the power sector, the Redmi Note 12 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh with support for fast charging 33 watts.
Other features that complement this phone are a 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi, IR blaster and a fingerprint sensor that is integrated with the power button. Unfortunately, the Redmi Note 12 in India is not equipped with NFC and a special slot for microSD cards.
Redmi Note 12 Pro specifications
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is designed with a slimmer body than the regular model, even though the screens are both 6.67 inches. The screen on this cellphone is also equipped with 120 Hz support and Full HD Plus screen resolution.
The difference is that the Redmi Note 12 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset combined with three RAM and memory options, namely 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB. In the photographic aspect, the Redmi Note 12 Pro is supported by three cameras, including a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
While the front camera has a resolution of 16 MP. Like the regular model, the Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, but fast charging reaches 67 watts.
Other features owned by the Redmi Note 12 Pro include NFC, IR blaster, stereo speakers, WiFi 6 and audio jacks. The phone also doesn't have a slot for a microSD card.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus specifications
As the highest model among the Redmi Note 12 family, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus boasts a camera aspect that is equipped with a 200 MP resolution. This camera is paired with two other cameras that have a resolution of 8 MP and 2 MP.
The front camera itself has a resolution of 16 MP, the same as the Pro version. The kitchen is also the same as the Redmi Note 12 Pro, using the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. It's just that the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is equipped with larger RAM and memory options, namely 8/256GB and 12/256GB.
The battery capacity is the same as the other models, but the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus supports even higher fast charging up to 120 watts.
