At a time when all smartphone vendors flocked to launch punch hole or waterdrop notch mobile phone designs, the Sony Xperia 10 IV was actually packaged in a FullView screen design at a release price of 499 USD.
But don't get me wrong first, even though it uses an old-school screen design, the quality of the screen display is still pretty good for the mid-range class.
It carries an OLED panel with support for 1 billion colors and is HDR certified. This phone also has a screen that is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Users don't have to worry about the screen easily cracking even if they fall from a height of up to 2 meters. To make it more durable, the device is equipped with IP65 and IP68 certifications so that it is not easily damaged when splashed or submerged in water.
The screen size of this cellphone is fairly small at 6.0 inches. Even so, this has a good impact on its weight which is only 161 grams. Making it one of the lightest mid-range HP in the world for easy grip
In the kitchen, the Snapdragon 695 5G is embedded with 6 nm fabrication. It is quite suitable to support gaming activities in Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile games.
On the camera side, Sony left unimportant camera functions such as macro and depth sensors, only presenting the wide-angle, telephoto, and ultrawide sensors that people use the most.
Sony Xperia Pro-I
- 6.5 inch OLED screen
- Chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 888
- 12GB RAM
- 512GB Internal Memory
- Camera 12 MP (wide) 12 MP (telephoto) 12 MP (ultrawide) 0.3 MP (depth)
- Li-Po 4500 mAh battery
Sony Xperia smartphone market share is not as big as it used to be. They are also not too aggressive because they take a strategy to focus on the flagship segment only. Nevertheless, Sony has not lost its identity to continue to present innovative and high-tech smartphones.
Most recently, they presented the Sony Xperia Pro-I (read: Pro Ai). This cellphone is the first smartphone in the world with a 1-inch camera sensor size. The sensor is embedded in the main 12 MP camera. The large sensor size has an effect on photo sharpness, color depth, and minimal noise.
Not only that, this HP main camera has a lens with an adjustable aperture. Users can choose to use f/2.0 or f/4.0. Aperture with a smaller number is used to make it easier to make bokeh photos. While the aperture with a large number is used to obtain sharpness throughout the captured object.
Those two things, a large sensor and dual aperture, are only a few of the sophistication of the Xperia Pro-I camera. This cellphone with the Snapdragon 888 SoC still has other advanced features such as OIS, optical magnification up to 2x, Zeiss optical system, Zeiss T* lens coating, to direct support for Sony Alpha cameras.
