This 14-inch Aspire Vero comes packaged in a box made using up to 90% recycled paper. Acer also eliminated all LDPE foam packaging without compromising its protective qualities.
In addition, to further reduce the impact on the environment, Acer does not use plastic as a charger adapter wrapper. Interestingly, the components in the box can be assembled and reused as an ergonomic laptop stand.
Not only that, these packing boxes can be easily assembled and reused as storage boxes or plant pots, giving them new functions to extend their shelf life.
Inside the box we found a laptop unit, a 65W adapter charger and a USB C type cable. Not to forget the manual and warranty card.

Body Design
Just like last year's generation, the Acer Aspire Vero AV 14-51 is based on the "R-E" concept (REview, REthink, REcycle and REduce). This laptop is made with environmentally friendly Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic.
Acer applies a composition of 30% PCR plastic to make the entire chassis and screen bezel, and 50% PCR plastic on the keyboard caps. This is interesting, because the concept of being environmentally friendly is not just a gimmick.
Furthermore, Aspire Vero is made without using paint, resulting in a unique color and texture. Unlike the previous Aspire Vero, this time Aspire Vero comes in navy blue (Marianna Blue) which comes from plastic waste of the same color in the ocean.
To reinforce its status as an environmentally friendly laptop, the R and E keys on the keyboard are deliberately designed upside down. Reinforcing the important message from the concept of "R-E" owned by Acer.
On the touchpad, Acer uses OceanGlass technology which is also made with plastic material recycled from remaining plastic waste in the oceans. Equipped with a Smart Fingerprint Reader that can read fingerprints quickly.
The keyboard also has keys that fit the fingers of Indonesians like us. Hand position when typing is relatively comfortable. Moreover, this keyboard is supported by a backlight which in addition to beautifying the appearance is also effective in low light conditions.
Physically, this device also looks more ergonomic and compact thanks to its 14-inch screen. Even though it is made of recycled materials, it looks aesthetically pleasing and feels solid to hold.
On the right side there is only a USB-A 3.2 port. The left section contains more connectivity ports starting from DC-in, USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 standard, HDMI, USB-A 3.2 and audio combo jack. But there is no memory card slot.
Screen
Even though it carries an environmentally friendly concept, Acer is still serious about maintaining the quality of this product. Just look at the screen sector which is equipped with a 14-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution.

The latest generation of 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors are designed with the latest hybrid architecture with a total of 10 Cores (2P Core + 8E Core), 12 threads and a maximum frequency of 4.40 GHz.
