The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is no longer sold in Indonesia. Even in India itself, the birthplace of this car, it has no longer been produced since October 2022.
In Indonesia, the SX4 S-Cross was launched on August 11 2016 to coincide with the 24th GIIAS. In November 2017, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) launched an improved version of the SX4 S-Cross with a number of minor changes.
Talking about the used market price, the 2016 SX4 S-Cross alert is now at IDR 160 million. Having an affordable used price equivalent to the Daihatsu Sigra (Specifications | News) type R MT, this car has interesting features that perhaps rarely get the attention of most people. 1. Suzuki SX4 S-Cross Equipped with Auto Wipers
Unknown to many people, the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has an auto rain sensor. With this feature, the wiper will move automatically when the front window is exposed to water.
Apart from that, the headlamps of this car are equipped with a HID projector feature with LED technology with auto headlight on & leveling feature. With this feature, driving visibility at night will be clearer, and the height and low light produced can be adjusted according to needs.
Not only that, the mirrors are equipped with electric settings and automatic folding. Another thing is that this car is equipped with four parking sensors which are placed on the bumper.
2. Suzuki SX4 S-Cross Has Cruise Control
As a versatile compact crossover for everyday use, the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has cruise control. This feature functions to hold the vehicle at the desired speed.
Not only that, this car also has a 7 inch touch screen entertainment system embedded in the center cluster which supports Bluetooth connection and smartphone mirroring.
From a practical perspective, the AC settings support auto climate technology, and there is a front and rear defogger. It feels ergonomic, to turn off and on the engine you just need to press a button once thanks to the start/stop engine.
Oh yes, this car also has a smart key and immobilizer which makes it easier for users to open or lock the doors, and minimizes theft.
On the other hand, the SX4 S-Cross also has a seat with a height adjuster on the driver's side, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and a seat belt adjuster in the first row that can be adjusted to suit the sitting position to provide driving comfort.
Likewise in the second row, the seats have an adjustable feature for the backrest, and there are arm rests equipped with cup holders.
For driving safety, Suzuki has equipped it with disc brakes on all wheels with ABS and EBD which function to prevent the wheels from slipping when braking suddenly. Not to forget, this car also gets dual SRS airbags which function to reduce injury when experiencing a fairly hard impact.
3. Get Paddle Shift
The SX4 S-Cross is equipped with the M145A, DOHC, VVT engine with a capacity of 1,491 cc multipoint injection, the same as that installed in the previous generation. The power produced is 109 PS at 6,000 rpm with a torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
The rotation produced by the engine is then regulated using a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic torque converter. In the automatic variant, the transmission is supported by a paddle shift feature behind the steering wheel, which the driver can use to manually increase or decrease gears just by pulling the lever.
