Bigger Battery, These are the Features of the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid Cruise
Compared to the Ertiga Hybrid Suzuki Sport, the exterior appearance of the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise looks fiercer. This can be seen in the fascia where the top variant of the Ertiga Hybrid gets a Front Garnish Bumper and Front Under Spoiler with a sportier shape as well as an add-on and futuristic.
Other changes can also be seen on the side with the addition of a New Side Body Decal and New Side Under Spoiler. The Side Under Spoiler and Side Body Decal now have black accents which also make it look more dynamic. Not only at the front and sides, the stern is given a New Rear Upper Spoiler and an ergonomic New Rear Garnish Design.
As additional information, the mirror covers and roof of this car are finished in glossy black which further emphasizes the sporty impression. For the wheel rims of this car, 15 inch two-tone spoke rims are used which are wrapped in 185/65 profile tires.
The interior is dominated by dark colors and carbon accents
Moving on to the inside, you can see that the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise is dominated by dark colors starting from the dashboard, door trim, seats and center console. Talking about the appearance of the dashboard, in the middle there is a dark carbon fiber accent that extends to the first row of door trim. In the center cluster of this car, an 8 inch touch screen head unit entertainment system has been successfully installed which is equipped with a smartphone connection.
Right below there is an AC button with complete settings including the heater which are presented digitally. Under the AC settings button there is a lighter with a voltage of 12v which can be used to add power to the device. Not to forget, near the lighter there is a pair of cup holders with air vents which can be used to place drinking bottles or other small objects.
Looking at other parts, the meter cluster has a blue background and the manual variant is equipped with a Gear Shift Indicator (GSI), while all types are equipped with a MID (Multi Information Display) with a new display.
Moving to the middle seat, this car gets an additional armrest in the middle, and double blower AC as standard features to provide comfort while driving. In order to give a sportier impression, the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise uses seat upholstery with Red Stitch accents up to the third row.
Use a larger battery which makes fuel more efficient
Like the previous Ertiga Hybrid, the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise uses mild hybrid technology called SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki). The SHVS technology in this car relies on 2 main components to accompany the internal combustion engine, namely the ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) and Lithium-Ion Battery.
As is known, ISG is Suzuki's first technological development to create fuel efficient vehicles at affordable prices. This embedded technology will make the conventional engine stop for a moment when the car stops thanks to the idling stop feature.
When stopping at a red light or traffic jam with the engine off, the AC, radio and other electrical systems will continue to work thanks to the electric power supply from the battery placed under the front passenger seat.
By using this technology, apart from making engine running easier, it can also make fuel consumption more economical and more environmentally friendly. If the previous Ertiga Hybrid used a 12V battery with 6Ah, in this Ertiga Hybrid Cruise the battery has a higher current strength of 4Ah, becoming 12V with 10Ah.
The battery specifications included are exactly the same as those used on the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid. By using a battery with larger specifications, technically the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise will be more fuel efficient.
Featured Features, Safety and Security of the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise
Talking about superior features, this car is equipped with mirrors with electric adjustment and automatic folding. All windows are equipped with power windows, which on the driver's side can be raised and lowered automatically by just pulling or pressing once.
The steering wheel is supported by Electronic Power Steering (ESP) and buttons on the left and right which are directly connected to the head unit and meter cluster to make settings easier.
Regarding driving safety, the Ertiga Cruise is equipped with a chassis with Heartect technology, as well as an ABS and EBD braking system which is able to prevent slipping and locking of the car's wheels when the driver makes a sudden move.
As standard safety features, this car is equipped with dual SRS airbags, front seatbelt 3 point ELR with pretensioners & force limiters, child proof door lock, seatbelt reminder, 2 point parking sensor, rear camera, door open warning, ISOFIX, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control ), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hill Hold Control (HHC), cruise control and ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

Use a 1,500 Cc Engine with High Durability
The Ertiga Hybrid Cruise is equipped with gasoline with a K15B 4-cylinder in-line DOHC 16 valve multipoint injection with a capacity of 1,462 cc. On paper, the pacemaker used is capable of producing 104.7 PS of power at 6,000 rpm with a peak torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
The high-durability engine used is mated to a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission which is then transmitted to the front wheels. Unlike its closest competitors which already use CVT technology, the automatic transmission used by the Ertiga Hybrid Cruise relies on conventional torque converter technology. This type of transmission is more robust and easier and cheaper to maintain.
