Honda Shows For the First Time the Latest Series of Honda e:N Series Electric Car Prototype Models at Auto Shanghai 2023
Honda showcased for the first time the latest series of Honda e:N Series prototype electric car models, namely the Honda e:NP2 Prototype, Honda e:NS2 Prototype, Honda e:N SUV and Honda e:N GT Concept at the Auto Shanghai 2023 exhibition which took place on 18 – 27 April 2023 in the city of Shanghai, China.
At this exhibition, Honda displayed the final model version (mass production model) of the second Honda e:N series for the Honda e:NP2 and Honda e:NS2 models which are planned to go on sale and be produced in early 2024. Honda e:NP2, The Honda e:NS2 and Honda e:N SUV have a dynamic development concept, intelligence and an attractive SUV design like a premium sedan.
The Honda e:N SUV and Honda e:N GT Concept are the third series of the Honda e:N Series. Both cars are planned to be ready for sale and production by the end of 2024.
In terms of technology, Honda has also introduced the latest Honda CONNECT 4.0 technology and the Honda SENSING 360 omnidirectional advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) as safety technology in the latest concept car from Honda.
In addition, Honda also emphasized that it would launch 10 electric-based models (EV) in China by 2027. Then Honda also targets to achieve 100% of its electric-based car sales by 2035 in China.
Honda is committed to addressing global environmental and energy issues by striving to achieve carbon neutrality for all of the company's products and activities by 2050. To achieve this goal, Honda will strive to make battery-electric and fuel cell electric vehicles represent 100% of global car sales.
