The 2022 Busan International Motor Show will be the launch site for the facelifted version of the Kia Seltos. The SUV type car will make its global debut at the end of 2022.
There have been a series of updates made to the Kia Seltos 2022. Starting from the exterior, interior sector to adding modern features to stop the pace of competitors in the class Honda HR-V and MG ZS.
Changes in the Exterior
The front fascia of the 2022 Kia Seltos has received maximum changes including a revised headlamp design, new bumpers and a new line at the front. The side profile remains largely the same but the design is refreshed with new rims. The size is 18 inches with a dashing two-tone accent.
The rear also gets some notable changes. These include getting new LED taillights, then a revised bumper design and updated trim elements to give it a new appeal.
Delivers Cab Refresh and ADAS Features
The Kia Seltos facelift also features several updates in the cabin to enhance the driving experience. This can be seen from the new upholstery and redesigned dashboard. The color of the cabin is also more elegant with brown accents mixed with black.
While the feature sector, the Kia Seltos facelift is equipped with an updated infotainment system and several new features such as a 360 degree camera. The automatic transmission lever also turns into a knob that gives a luxurious impression like the Hyundai Palisade.
It is also planned that the 2022 Kia Seltos will feature the LEVEL 2 ADAS feature. In addition, old features such as the electric sunroof, automatic climate control and auto dimming are retained.
Later, there will also be the highest facelift version of the Kia Seltos, nicknamed the X-Line, which has a more complete range of features than the standard edition.
Machine Rely on
However, the expected engine options remain similar to the current types. Among them turbo petrol engine 1.4 liter, 1.5 liter petrol engine Naturally Aspirated and 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine.
Gearbox options will also remain the same as currently available. Additionally, for global markets, it may get mild hybrid technology to improve fuel economy.
