Ford's Luxury Car Division Creates an Electric Car Concept

Lincoln is the luxury car division of Ford. This brand will also follow in Ford's footsteps to enliven the electric car market.

Quoted from The Verge on Tuesday (10/5/2022), the plan can be seen from the existence of a concept electric car that has been prepared by Lincoln. Later, the concept car will begin production in 2025.

In fact, that year, Lincoln will launch three EVs at once. Then, in 2026, the manufacturer will re-launch one EV product.

With the launch of the EV product, Lincoln also targets that 50 percent of global sales will be contributed by electric cars.

The concept car that was introduced itself was presented with the name Lincoln Star Concept. In addition to presenting the latest technological breakthroughs, this SUV is also presented with a new design language.

With this new design language, the Lincoln Star Concept is present as a very unique EV on the front end, side and rear end.

The futuristic feel is also highlighted with a very minimalist interior decorated with display screens along the dashboard.

Regarding the powertrain, Lincoln has not disclosed the specifications for power output, battery capacity and cruising range. But, most likely, this car will be presented by carrying the EV platform that has been developed by Ford.
