PT. Pindad (Persero) continues to develop its own combat vehicle under the name Komodo. This Humvee-like war vehicle is planned to be produced for civilian use.
The Komodo variant of the combat vehicle will be reproduced after being proven and tested in the field. The civilian version of the vehicle is promised to be released at a lower price than the selling price of the military version. According to him, the civilian variant is simpler than the military.
"The price of the civilian version has a reduced specification, there is no water profing. Now it is released starting at Rp. 2 billion. But it depends on the configuration," said one of the retainers of PT. Pindad.
