The Indonesia International Motor Show or IIMS 2023 event has ended. Dyandra Promosindo, as the organizer of the automotive event, claimed that during the event that took place from 16-26 February 2023, transaction results exceeded the target of IDR 5.3 trillion.

According to the IIMS 2023 Project Director, Daswar Marpaung, the success of the IIMS 2023 event which was held at JIExpo, Kemayoran, could not be separated from the positive efforts of all IIMS stakeholders, so that the entire ecosystem in the automotive world can build collaboration and synergy to create greater opportunities in the industry.
"Qualitatively, we can say that we can see that all APM (cars and motorbikes) are happy. Overall, it can be said that macroeconomic optimism for 2023 has begun to be seen and is very good," said Daswar in a written statement, Thursday ( 2/3/2023).
Daswar said, Dyandra Promosindo as an organizer in the automotive sector, had succeeded in capturing optimistic signals in 2023, when Indonesia could achieve quite significant economic growth.
IIMS 2023 is Supported by Various Parties
Daswar did not deny that the success of IIMS was due to the support of various parties, including the involvement of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, all levels of government represented by various Ministries, including two-wheeled and four-wheeled APMs.
According to him, with these various supports, it will indirectly make the holding of IIMS 2023 which is one of the barometers and meeting points of the Indonesian automotive industry players able to achieve the expected targets.
"It is not the right time for all industry activists to continue to be pessimistic, but to be optimistic in facing the stretching of the Indonesian automotive industry in 2023 which is increasingly showing positive trends," he said.
