20 Best Selling Car Brands March 2024, Best Selling Toyota
It turns out that the best-selling car brand in Indonesia is still occupied by Toyota, both for March 2024 and for the first three months of January-March 2024.
Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) wholesales (sales from factories to dealers) in March 2024, Toyota was recorded at 21,142 units.
The number of Toyota wholesalers actually fell 10.1 percent from the February 2024 period, which reached 23,525 units.
Factory sales to dealers are currently also decreasing compared to the same period in 2023, where Toyota actually managed to sell 29,471 units.
Meanwhile, Toyota's retail sales data (sales from dealers to consumers) in March 2024 rose 18.1 percent or reached 26,142 units from February 2024 which reached 22,142 units.
However, Toyota's current retail sales have apparently decreased by 12.9 percent compared to March 2023 when 30,008 units were sold.
In second place, the best-selling car brand in Indonesia apparently still faithfully accompanies none other than Daihatsu.
According to Gaikindo data, Daihatsu wholesales in March 2024 reached 16,552 units or an increase of 9.7 percent from February 2024.
However, Daihatsu's current sales figures are still not high because they fell 16.8 percent compared to the March 2023 period which recorded 29,471 units.
Meanwhile, Daihatsu's retail sales in March 2024 were 26,142 units or an increase of 18.1 percent from the February 2024 period which was only 22,142 units.
