Get to know the 2022 Dodge Charger and Challenger

Dodge announced the design of the two oldest sports car models in the United States, namely the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger for next year.

Dodge is giving away both the Hemi Orange and SRT Black models for the 2022 model.

Citing Autoblog, the Hemi Orange package will live up to its name and have an orange accent that is identical to Halloween for both muscle cars.

Hemi Orange is available in GT RWD and Scat Pack Widebody variants, both Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger.

The cars have orange stripes running from front to rear, orange brake calipers, plus orange accents on the exterior badges.

The slick past and present visuals led the company to also paint the engine block orange, although there were no changes to the hood.

The GT RWD variant will be powered by a proven 3.6-liter Dodge Pentastar V6 engine with 305 horsepower and 268 Nm of torque. Then the Scat Pack variant uses a naturally aspirated 6.4 liter Hemi V8 tuned to develop 485 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque.

The SRT Black is also presented with black accents on the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye models. Dodge applies a Midnight Gray Metallic finish to the Black Nickel emblem and exhaust tip for the Charger.

The Dodge Halloween 2022 model can be ordered in the fourth quarter of 2021. The Hemi Orange will be priced at USD 2,995 for the GT AWD model and USD 1,500 for the Scat Pack Widebody car.

The Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Black packs will be priced at USD 695 regardless of the model.
