Get to know the variant: Subaru XV Subaru Forester Subaru BRZ Subaru WRX

Subaru XV

As an entry-level model, the manufacturer has made a refresh for the 2021 model year. The XV has received a part-time refresh so it looks fresher. The touch of refinement was carried out on the exterior, especially on the front, features, the addition of a new Plasma Yellow Pearl color and the latest Hybrid S variant as the highest variant.

Especially for the outside, improvements are focused on the front. The bumper is made more boxy and the grille is given a black color so it looks more aggressive. The fog lamps are made more rounded, while the alloy wheels adopt a new design.

No less important is the addition of the SI-Drive driving mode taken from the Impreza and the CVT transmission which is made sportier so that it is more tasty.

Subaru Forester

The manufacturer has released the 2021 model year. Various improvements have been made, such as the new adaptive LED headlamp and the new automatic high beam. Valid for all Forester 2021 models. Also provides a 7-speed manual transmission version, as an addition to the CVT transmission for the Limited variant. All variants get storage on the rear center console, except for the bottom model.

In terms of engines, all Forester models are equipped with a 2.5-liter flat-four-cylinder engine, producing 182 hp. Combined with a CVT (plus a 7-speed manual transmission on the Limited variant) that transmits power to all four wheels (AWD).

Subaru BRZ

A car that is quite iconic for Subaru and is equipped with a machine that has indeed become an icon of the manufacturer, the Boxer. For the 2021 version, the engine capacity is increased to 2.4 liters, replacing the previous 2.0 liter engine.

This second generation BRZ has a lighter weight, under 1,315 kg and body dimensions are 1 inch longer. To produce higher downforce, ground clearance is reduced by 0.5 inches compared to before.

The Boxer engine that is carried produces 228 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic. To stabilize the car, the chassis structure was made more rigid, the traction system and vehicle stability were adjusted to make it more fun-to-drive.

Subaru WRX

This is a compact sedan that car enthusiasts adore. The development base is from the Subaru Impreza which was developed specifically for the 1992 WRC rally car. The name WRX itself stands for "World Rally eXperimental".

The shape of the 2021 model has barely evolved from its predecessor, because it does not target the aesthetics of modern cars and soft driving characteristics. It is a vehicle whose development base is for motorsport with a sports standard AWD system and to provide a driving 'sensation' for speed lovers and car enthusiasts.

Bringing a standard 2.0-liter turbo boxer engine that produces 268 hp and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. Adopting an AWD layout which is channeled by a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT as optional for the Premium and Limited models.
