The difference between the New MG ZS EV Ignite and Magnify only lies in the features? MG Motor Indonesia recently officially launched the locally produced New ZS EV Completely Knocked Down (CKD), which is priced at IDR 453 million for the top variant Magnify.
As a pure electric SUV, the New ZS EV not only comes with a futuristic appearance, but also offers a variety of modern features that are very suitable for accompanying daily activities. Available in two variants, see the differences between the New ZS EV Ignite and Magnify variants below.
Differences between the New MG ZS EV Ignite and Magnify in appearance
Both the New MG ZS EV Ignite and Magnify exterior look very futuristic. On the front, both have a grill-less design with carvings. The main lights come in an angled shape and have LED DRLs at the top that look like eyebrows.
Another change compared to the pre-facelift model that was introduced is the aero wheel cover with a more dynamic shape, and the interior feel looks very sporty and attractive. As a differentiator, the Magnify variant is equipped with an IMAX Panoramic Sunroof which can improve visibility as well as driving style.
Apart from that, this type has a wiper working system that can run automatically and has a roof rail on the roof that can be used when you want to add a cross bar or roof rack.
Electric Seat Settings for Magnify Variant
Moving on to the inside, both have interior nuances that look the same. Both the Ignite and Magnify types are combined with dark gray which is joined together using red thread. The door trim area, dashboard, seats and center console of both types are also covered in soft touch material which gives a luxurious impression.
Other similarities such as; four-way adjustable front passenger seat, 10-inch infotainment system that produces immersive 3D sound combined with 4 and 6 speakers (Magnify), and supports Apple CarPlay connectivity and Android smartphone multimedia connecting system.

As a differentiator, the top type for the driver's seat is equipped with an electric feature with 6-way adjustment, while the variants below are equipped manually. No less interesting, the Magnify type also has a wireless phone charging system which functions to charge the smartphone by placing it down.
Oh yes, in the second row this type also gets arm rests which are known to provide driving comfort when traveling for a long time. Thanks to several differences, they both produce different weights. The Ignite variant has a total weight of 1,570 kg and the Magnify weighs 1,610 kg.
Top Variant Safety Features Are Slightly More Complete
The New MG ZS EV managed to achieve 5 stars in the EURO NCAP crash test through the various features it offers.
The safety features available in the two variants include; 6 aibags, EBP (Electronic Parking Brake), AVH (Auto Vehicle Hold), Anti-lock ABS system with brake force distribution EBD, EBA (Electronic Brake Assist), Follow Me Home Light, SCS (Stability Control System), HSA (Hill Start Assist System), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System), Front seat belts with pretensioners with automatic load relief, 3D surround view camera, Reverse warning signal and AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking).
Not to forget, both are also equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) which includes; ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), TJA (Traffic Jam Assist), ELK (Emergency Lane Keep Assist), IHC (Intelligent High-beam Control).

The range of the New MG ZS EV Ignite and Magnify is above 400 kilometers
The New MG ZS EV Ignite and Magnify are equipped with a battery with a capacity of 50.3 kWh of lithium-ion type which includes a battery guarantee for 8 years or the equivalent of 160,000KM.
According to tests carried out at NEDC, the maximum distance can be traveled as far as 403 kilometers. Equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, the power produced is 130 kW (177 HP) and torque of 280 Nm.
Regarding the recorded time, 0-100 km/h takes 8.6 seconds. For your information, for every purchase of a New ZS EV, both the Ignite and Magnify variants, the owner is entitled to Free Mobile & Home Charging which has a power of 7.7 kW, including installation services.

Has V2L Feature
Another great thing about the New ZS EV is that this car has successfully applied V2L (vehicle to load) technology. This feature can be used to turn on electronic devices simply by connecting the socket to an available port in an emergency.
Not just one, several electronic devices can be turned on easily just by connecting the plug to the adapter. When the V2L feature is active, the user will get up to 2.2 kilowatts (kW) of power released to turn on electrical devices or the equivalent of a generator to turn on home electricity, which can be adjusted according to needs.
